Privacy Notice

This is the fuller version of the privacy summary on our Legal & Disclaimer page. It explains what information The Hümmo Method™ collects, why, and what you can do about it. Plain language, no tricks.
Who we are.
The Hümmo Method™ is run by Hugh Comerford, based in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. When this notice says “we” or “us,” that’s who it means. The site is built on Kajabi, which hosts the pages, the checkout, and the email tools we use.
What we collect.
Two kinds of thing. The first is what you give us on purpose: your name and email when you join a waitlist or sign up for something; your purchase details when you buy the book companion materials or the course; and whatever you write when you send us a message. The second is what gets collected automatically as you browse (the ordinary stuff most sites log): your device and browser type, rough location, the pages you visit, and similar analytics, gathered through cookies and the platform’s built-in tracking.
Why we have it.
To do the thing you asked for (send the download, enrol you, reply to you); to keep you posted about Hümmo, the book, and the training (you can stop these any time); to run and improve the site; and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. That’s the whole list. We don’t collect data for the sake of it.
What we don’t do.
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t rent or trade it. We don’t store your card details ourselves; payments are handled by our payment processor under their own security. We share information only with the service providers who make the site work (hosting, email, payments, analytics), and only as far as they need it to do their job; or where the law requires it.
Cookies.
The site uses cookies to keep it working, to remember you, and to understand how pages are used. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies in their settings; the site will still work, though some parts may be less smooth.
Your choices.
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email. You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it; and you can withdraw consent for marketing whenever you like. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your local privacy law (for example PIPEDA in Canada, the GDPR in the UK and EU, or state privacy laws in the US). We’ll honour those rights.
Keeping it, and keeping it safe.
We hold your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above (or as long as the law requires), then we remove it. We take reasonable measures to protect it; no system is perfectly secure, but we treat your data as we’d want ours treated.
Children.
This site and its offerings are meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll remove it.
Changes.
We may update this notice as the site grows or the law changes. The version posted here, with the effective date above, is the current one.
